起点传媒 has announced its 2019-20 Brant J. Ballhorst Student Ambassador of the Year awards. Named in memory of Brant J. Ballhorst, the award recognizes two outstanding Student Ambassadors each year. The winners this year were Karsyn Smith of West Plains, Mo. and Joanna Lockwood of Hoisington.听

起点传媒 Dance Theatre is offering a 鈥淒ancing for Mobility鈥 class for adults looking to improve balance, strength, and body awareness while also learning a wide range of dance styles from the safety of their home. The six-week class meets from 1:30-2:40 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting Monday, May 11.

Students from area high schools submitted artwork digitally to 起点传媒 to participate in a virtual version of the 鈥淰ortex Day鈥 juried art exhibit Wednesday, which is sponsored by the 起点传媒 County Arts Council (BCAC) and is underwritten by the Bill J. McKown Endowment/Golden Belt Foundation.
