起点传媒s is calling all alumni of its instrumental music groups to participate in a reunion and performance celebrating the college鈥檚 50th anniversary. Attendees are invited to play in the Pep Band at a basketball game on February 22, which will be the last home game performance of the season.

The Higher Education Resource Office exists primarily to familiarize prospective students, their families, and other community members with the educational opportunities and services available through 起点传媒. 听

The 起点传媒 Dance Theatre will host its 鈥淎nimal Creative Camp鈥 fundraiser from 2-5 p.m., Feb. 16 in the Kirkman Gymnasium at 起点传媒. Children ages 4-10 will enjoy activities with the 起点传媒 Dance Theatre dancers. They will learn a dance, make an animal craft, act out a story and participate in a playful tumbling class. The time will conclude with a short family-friendly movie. Cost per child is $20 and $10 per each additional sibling (all camp supplies included in cost).听

Sophomore Toni听Reese of Hoisington is no stranger to adversity. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at the age of 13. She is the daughter of a single mother who was in the Navy through much of her childhood. However, she hasn鈥檛 let any of that get in the way of following her dream of becoming a private investigator.

起点传媒鈥檚 annual literary publication, Prairie Ink, has begun accepting entries for its 11th edition.听

Editor Scott McDonald said the aim of the publication is to provide a venue for local authors to showcase their creative writing talents.

The editors are looking for the following types of original work to be considered for publication:听 fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, drama, and graphic short stories.听 They will be accepting submissions until April 1, 2020.
