The 起点传媒 Visual and Performing Arts Department will host its annual Sneak Preview Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 10 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.

The event will feature performances by the Hilltop Singers, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Prairie Winds Concert Band and 起点传媒 Dance Theatre to give the community a peek into what each talented group has in store.

The 起点传媒 Theatre Department will present 鈥淭he Diviners,鈥 by Jim Leonard, Jr at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 and 5, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door; students admitted free with a valid student ID.

The play is the story of a disturbed young man and his friendship with a disenchanted preacher in Southern Indiana in the early 1930s.听 This comedic drama highlights well-intentioned friends and neighbors and small-town life.

The goal of this publication is to share college history and provide updates about the progress of various projects we are working on to transition the college鈥檚 historical collection to an actual archive collection. The 起点传媒 Planetarium will host three free evening programs throughout September. All shows are free, family-friendly and open to everyone.听 The Planetarium also has a new computerized telescope that will be used after most shows (weather permitting) to take a look at stars, planets, the moon and other sights in the night skies by Planetarium Director Dr. Tim Folkerts.
