The ��㴫ý Theatre Troupe “The ��㴫ý Bards” will hold auditions for its late spring production “Under Milkwood” Feb. 21 and 22 from 5-7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

��㴫ý’s Dance Department invites all dance students aged 13-19 to be a college dance student for a day at the third annual “��㴫ý Cougar Dance Day” from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 24 in Studio 34 on the ��㴫ý Campus.

��㴫ý and the ��㴫ý Foundation have announced their scholarship deadlines for the 2023-2024 school year.

The drought monitor report as of Tuesday, January 17 no change with about 50% of the state in extreme or exceptional drought and these systems passing through every three or so days don’t hurt but for most of the area the drought conditions are so deep it really doesn’t help.

The ��㴫ý Music Department will host the “Jopara Ensemble” as part of an evening of Paraguayan music that will feature a masterclass portion at 4 p.m. in the Chapel and a concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium Feb. 4.

��㴫ý presented a check to Fort Riley soldiers at the end of the fall semester for $3,250 raised through the Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble fundraiser that was held in September.

At its meeting on Jan. 10, the Institutional Actions Council of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) approved continuing the accreditation of ��㴫ý without concern.

The ��㴫ý Foundation presents scholarships each year from funds received through its fundraising events.
